
Russ and Jen Tappero grew up together in Olympia, Washington at Evergreen Christian Center. They were married in 1991 and enrolled at Northwest College in Kirkland, WA. Russ graduated in 1994 and was ordained by the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God in 1995.
Russ and Jen served in youth ministry and associate work in Washington state from 1993 to 2000. They served churches in Edmonds, Sedro-Woolley, Bothell, and Medical Lake.
In 2001 Russ and Jen began pastoring Ridgeview Christian Center in Spokane, Wa. During their 5 year tenure, Russ served on the local committee and state board of Pacific Northwest Teen Challenge Spokane Men’s Center. Russ was also elected to serve as Presbyter of the Spokane Section of the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God in November of 2004.
In February of 2006, Russ and Jen resigned from Ridgeview and accepted the Center Executive Director position at Pacific Northwest Teen Challenge Spokane Men’s Center. Russ continues to serve as Spokane Section Presbyter and on various boards and committees. Jennifer was hired by Spokane Men’s Center in the summer of 2006 as the thrift store manager in Spokane, and is currently the Executive Assistant to the Director.
Russ and Jen have 4 children. Micah, Jackson, Bailey, and Carson. Russ is an avid golfer and Jennifer loves to thrift shop. As a family they like to ride motorcycles, go boating and fishing, and root for their favorite college football team, the University of Washington Huskies.
