Rev. Bob Stone
Executive Director
On June 7, 1976, out of the hippy movement, Bob Stone found Jesus as Savior. One day while playing tennis in Grand Junction, Colorado, Bob met a young lady named Carolyn Elliot. Wanting to know her better, Bob went with her to hear her sing at a junior high youth camp. While there, Bob heard and responded to a clear gospel message. Some months after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ, Bob surrendered to the call of God to enter full time ministry and fulfill the Great Commission of Christ. With his brand new bride he headed off to Bible College. Bob graduated from Central Bible College with a B.A. in Bible and pastoral studies.
Carolyn was raised in a pastor’s home. She remembers clearly accepting Jesus as her Savior when she was five. When she was nine Carolyn knew she was called to serve God. Looking back Carolyn knows that through ministering with her family God groomed her whole life to be in ministry.
The Stones have been ministering for over 30 years. They ministered as directors of The King’s Ranch Teen Challenge in Morrow, Arkansas (1980-1984). Bob has also served as a senior pastor in two churches, an associate pastor in one and as a principal/administrator of a Christian school. In 1990, Bob and Carolyn took the position of Executive Directors of the Graham Women’s Center Teen Challenge. In 1997, Bob added to his responsibilities, advisor to the Teen Challenge International Pacific Northwest Women’s Division. Bob and Carolyn have begun their 18th year as executive directors at the Graham Women’s Center. Bob is an ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Together Bob and Carolyn serve as Assemblies of God Nationally Appointed Home Missionaries to the Teen Challenge Ministry.
Bob also serves on the NW Ministry Network Missions Committee as the Teen Challenge Representative for the Pacific Northwest Centers. Bob and Carolyn have been married for over 30 years and have two daughters, Christina and Kimberly.
